I would like to share with you the interesting stories and facts of their stay in the Netherlands. 

As a part of the 3rd Parachute Brigade, 6th Airborne Division, the battalion was stationed along the Maas river in the province of Limburg for almost a month , facing German Fallschirmjäger troops on the other side.

A lot of reconnaissance patrols where set out to gather information and to harass the enemy.

Because of their outstanding training and combat experience in France and the Ardennes, casualty rates were very low for such a long deployment on the frontline.

I would like to thank these brave men who fought for our freedom, being far from home in an unknown hostile environment.
